The Incentive System entered into force with the publication of the Declaration Related to the Decision Concerning the Government Aid in Investments on 15.06.2012 and the Application of the Decision Concerning the Government Aid in Investments on 20.06.2012 in the official gazette.
The Incentive System was established with the development and revision of the old incentive system in order to achieve the economic targets of our country, to reduce the import dependence of production exports and to meet the change demands from private sector institutions and investors. In addition, the 4-stage regional map used in 2009 was abandoned and a new 6-stage regional map based on the Socio-Economic Development Ranking of Provinces Study (2011) was prepared. Osmaniye, one of the TR63 Region provinces, is located in the 5th Region on this map.
